Nel 1978 esce la Fahion Photo Barbie: nove cambi di look permettono a Barbie di posare come una vera modella. Nella confezione è presente una pedana rosa su cui va posizionata la bambola; un cavo collega la pedana a una macchina fotografica giocattolo: a ogni scatto effettuato, la pedana ruota e fa cambiare postura alla Barbie.

In 1978 the Fahion Photo Barbie is released: nine look changes allow Barbie to pose as a real model. In the package there is a pink platform on which the doll must be placed; a cable connects the platform to a toy camera: with each shot taken, the platform rotates and changes the Barbie's posture.
