Questa Barbie riscosse subito un tale successo che ben presto anche Ken, Francie, Skipper, Christie e P.J. si aggiunsero con la loro tenuta da spiaggia.

The first Barbie to show off a splendid tan is The Sun Set Malibu # 1067. A simple light blue costume , lilac sunglasses and yellow towel , and here comes a new icon! This Barbie immediately received such success that soon also Ken, Francie, Skipper, Christie and P.J. they added themselves with their beach outfit.
