From 1959 to today the figure of Barbie has undergone many changes . The need to make the doll less static, to bend her legs or change the position of her arms, was just the beginning of a long evolution. To adapt to the tastes, the different fashions and the many comments made on the proportions of her body (but do not forget that Barbie is a doll!), Barbie had a teen ager body, a silhouette of a top model , to get to the curvy body. Even the stature has changed, from the so-called Normal , to Petite and Tall . So let's see chronologically the different bodies of Barbie, with their characteristics.

Dal 1959 a oggi la figura di Barbie ha subito moltissimi cambiamenti . La necessità di rendere la bambola meno statica, di farle piegare le gambe o cambiare la posizione delle braccia, è stato solo l'inizio di una lunga evoluzione. Per adeguarsi ai gusti, alle diverse mode e ai tanti commenti fatti sulle proporzioni del suo corpo (ma non dimentichiamo che Barbie è una bambola!), Barbie ha avuto un fisico da ragazzina , una silhouette da indossatrice , per arrivare al sinuoso corpo curvy .
